We all go through it, a sudden desperate desire to change the living room around or revamp the bedroom. Often the cost of hiring help and buying materials puts us off so we stick to the drab and familiar. But there are ways and means of getting around a miniscule budget; you just have to be creative and eager to do a bit of manual work.
Megan Karstens of Women24 gives low-budget renovators some great advice in her online article “5 Décor Tips for Dummies”. If you’re going to paint your walls think carefully about which colour you want. You want to choose a hue that can go with various themes and moods, and you don’t want to be stuck with a colour that dates quickly.
